Customized Pelvic Floor Therapy in Denver, Colorado

I help pregnant & postpartum moms feel whole again— by tackling pain, incontinence, and weakness.

Likely, no one told you this

Becoming a mom is beautiful, but it also means months of preparing for baby’s needs, while your own get pushed to “later”. Then labor and delivery ask everything of your body, and almost overnight you’re expected to bounce back: caring for your newborn (and maybe a toddler underfoot), showing up for your partner, staying connected to friends, all while healing on fragments of sleep.

You can’t pour from an empty glass. Between the physical changes, the exhaustion, and the pressure to hold it all together, finding space to heal- or even just feel like yourself again- can be hard to come by.

MAYBE YOU’VE FOUND YOURSELF

Experiencing bladder and bowel leaks

Navigating postpartum stress and urge incontinence can be overwhelming, but with focused pelvic floor rehabilitation, you're not alone. I’m committed to transforming these challenges into a journey of empowerment and regained control.

Having difficulty resuming intimacy due to pain, lack of desire or just simply feeling exhausted all the time

Intimacy issues like dyspareunia and vulvodynia can cast a shadow on your postpartum experience. My sensitive and understanding approach aims to bring back the light, gently guiding you towards a fulfilling and pain-free intimate life.

Feeling disconnected from your body and nervous about exercising again

The journey back to reconnecting with your body, especially when facing diastasis recti or pelvic floor dysfunction, can be deeply personal. I’m here to walk beside you, offering tailored support and guidance to help you feel whole and strong again.

Tightness in your neck, stiffness in your low back, and pain in your hips all throughout the day

Your experience of neck tightness, back stiffness, and hip pain is more than just physical discomfort; it's a barrier to enjoying life fully. My holistic care is designed to break down these barriers, restoring balance and joy in your daily activities.

Struggling to balance being a new Mom with feeling overwhelmed at fitting everything in

The emotional rollercoaster of new motherhood, often accompanied by chronic pelvic pain or tension headaches, deserves compassionate attention. I offer a nurturing environment where healing is as much about emotional well-being as it is about physical recovery.

At Flor Pelvic Therapy, I believe motherhood doesn’t need to be more challenging than necessary.

Here’s how I can help:

Eliminate leaking naturally

Your pelvic floor is like any other muscle in your body.  It needs to be able to move over a range of motion.  Most leaking is resolved after we work on restoring your pelvic floor’s natural range of motion.

Enjoy intimacy again

Experiencing pelvic pain is incredibly common postpartum.  But, with our holistic approach and innovative strategies I can help reduce the pain symptoms and give you a wide variety of techniques to start enjoying intimacy again. No matter how long it’s been.

Feel like yourself again

Being a Mom takes its toll physically and emotionally.  I know that the answer isn’t to just give you a set of exercises and send you on your way.  I work with you on strategies to move pain-free, feel less overwhelmed, and more confident in your new role.  And I do it in a way that fits into YOUR lifestyle.

Discover the Flor Pelvic Therapy Difference: Where Expert Care Meets Personal Touch

Restoring your pelvic floor doesn’t just consist of completing kegels or following an exercise app. It requires a unique approach depending on your unique body and environment. Pelvic therapy can provide a healing experience that resonates with your unique needs, especially during the transformative pregnancy and postpartum periods. I understand that choosing a pelvic health specialist is a significant decision, and it's essential to find a place where you feel understood, cared for, and confident in the expertise provided. Below are the top reasons why my clinic stands out as the premier choice for mothers seeking specialized, compassionate pelvic health care.

  1. Focused Expertise in Pelvic Health: Flor is not just any clinic; I specialize in pregnancy and postpartum pelvic health. My advanced training means you're getting care that's tailored, precise, and effective.

  2. Consistent, Personalized Care: Every time you visit, you'll see the same therapist. This consistency means I really get to know you and your journey, providing care that feels familiar and reassuring.

  3. In Home Sessions: My approach is tailored to help achieve your goals in your own environment where healing feels natural. After all, what is more comforting than your own space, and not having to schedule child care or naps around a therapy session? You have enough on your plate, let me come to you!

  4. Full-Hour, Focused Sessions: Each session with me is a full hour dedicated to you. This means more time for treatment, more attention to your needs, and a quicker path to feeling better.

  5. Empowering You with Knowledge: I do more than treat symptoms; I educate and empower. You'll leave not just feeling better, but also equipped with the knowledge to maintain and improve your pelvic health. There is no gatekeeping here.

  6. Specialized Care, Real Results: I offer precise, effective treatments that make a real difference in your recovery and overall well-being.

  7. Proactive Health Decision: Motherhood doesn’t have to be more challenging than necessary. Choosing to make that first appointment is a proactive step towards better health. It's about not settling for discomfort or delay, but taking control and moving towards a healthier, stronger you.

Meet Jessica - Your Pelvic Health Therapist Serving Denver, CO

I know firsthand how difficult navigating pregnancy and postpartum can be.

After my first pregnancy, I wanted to feel whole in my body again. So, I did what felt natural to me—I got active. I started training for a half marathon, hoping running would help me feel like myself again.

Instead, I started experiencing bladder leakage mid-run. What began as something I thought I could just “push through” eventually became a fear of running in public.

During my second pregnancy, I experienced something different. By my third trimester, I was dealing with more low back pain than I had during my first pregnancy. I couldn’t help but wonder: If I had taken the time to properly address my pelvic floor after my first pregnancy, would my body be struggling this much now?

That question changed the way I approached my second postpartum experience.

Instead of simply doing Kegels and jumping back into exercise, I learned to meet my body where it was. I gave myself permission to slow down, rebuild strength and coordination, and—most importantly—receive the care I deserved.

And I felt the difference. I was able to show up for my family with a completely different perspective, especially while chasing around a toddler and caring for a new baby.

Because motherhood asks so much of us.

There is so much to learn when you become a mom—how to care for a tiny human, how to navigate a new identity, and how to somehow find your way back to yourself in the middle of it all. But things like pain, leaking, or changing your underwear several times a day don’t have to become something you simply accept as part of motherhood.

Why should we have to just survive pregnancy and postpartum when we can feel supported through it?

And I quickly realized I wasn’t the only mom asking these questions.

So I made it my mission to become the pelvic health therapist I wished I had the first time: someone who could offer support, guidance, and a holistic perspective while helping women understand and reconnect with their bodies.

And that’s how Flor was born.

You don’t have to navigate the physical changes of motherhood alone. Your body deserves care, too.

I’d love to help you feel strong, steady, and at home in yourself again.
